If you enjoy hanging out with animals and talking to folks about the shelter - this is the opportunity for you!
Join Halifax Humane Society on Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th from 10AM to 2PM at the Riverfest Seafood Festival.
This event is held at Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park in Ormond Beach. We will send out parking instructions to volunteers that have signed up by Friday, November 14th. We will be bringing puppies that will be available for adoption, talking to folks about the work going on in the shelter, and having a lot of fun!
Duties include:
- Basic animal husbandry and cleaning.
- Interacting with the public
- Ensuring safe interactions between potential adopters and pets.
